身体と土地の記憶から、新しい舞台を立ち上げる
「プロジェクト天水」は、AGAXARTが福島県楢葉町で展開する、舞踏・プロレス・音楽を融合した創作プロジェクトです。
舞踏家・我妻恵美子の演出のもと、舞踏家、プロレスラー、音楽家が楢葉町に滞在。地域を歩き、人と出会い、その土地の歴史や暮らし、風景、人々の記憶に触れながら、新たな舞台作品を創作します。
私たちが大切にしたいのは、あらかじめ完成した作品を土地に持ち込むことではありません。
どんな人と出会い、どんな話を聞き、どんな風景を目にするのか。
そこから身体が何を受け取り、どんな表現が生まれてくるのか。
深く息を吸い込むように、時間をかけて土地と関わりながら、作品を育てていきます。

Creating a New Performance from the Memories of Bodies and Place
PROJECT TENSUI is a creative project developed by AGAXART in Naraha, Fukushima, bringing together Butoh, professional wrestling, and music.
Directed by Butoh artist Emiko Agatsuma, the project brings Butoh dancers, a professional wrestler and musicians to Naraha. By walking through the town, meeting local people, and encountering its history, everyday life, landscapes, and memories, we will develop a new performance work.
Rather than bringing a finished work into the community, we want the work itself to emerge from our encounters with the place.
Who will we meet?
What stories will we hear, and what landscapes will we encounter?
What will our bodies absorb from these experiences, and what forms of expression will emerge?
Like taking a deep breath, we will take our time, building relationships with the place and allowing the work to grow.
楢葉町から始まる創作
Creating in Naraha
2026年9月から楢葉町で滞在制作を開始します。
フィールドリサーチや地域の方々との交流とともに、誰でも参加できる舞踏ワークショップを開催します。
舞踏を知らない方も、踊ったことがない方もご自身のペースで無理なく楽しむことができます。
希望する方には、その後の作品づくりや公演にも参加可能です。
プロのアーティストと地域の人々が、それぞれの身体や経験を持ち寄りながら、一緒に舞台をつくっていきます。
Beginning in September 2026, we will begin a creative residency in Naraha.
Alongside field research and exchanges with local residents, we will hold Butoh workshops open to everyone.
No previous knowledge of Butoh or dance experience is necessary. Participants are welcome to explore movement comfortably at their own pace.
Those who are interested will also have the opportunity to take part in the creative process and the final performance.
Professional artists and local participants will bring together their different bodies and experiences to create a performance together.
2027年2月、舞台へ
Towards the Performance — February 2027
楢葉町での滞在制作を経て、東京でも創作を継続。東京で制作途中の作品を公開するワークインプログレスを行います。
そして2027年2月、「ハマカルアートウィーク」にて、楢葉町で生まれた作品を舞台作品として発表します。
作品が完成するまでの過程も映像として記録し、浜通りで生まれる創造を国内外へ発信していきます。
一度の公演で終わるのではなく、土地や人との関係を育てながら、これからも続いていく「プロジェクト天水」を目指します。
Following the residency in Naraha, the creative process will continue in Tokyo. Works-in-progress will be presented in Tokyo, offering audiences a glimpse into the development of the performance.
In February 2027, the completed work will be presented as part of Hamakaru Art Week, bringing to the stage what has emerged through our encounters and creative process in Naraha.
The development of the project will also be documented on film, sharing the creative work emerging from Fukushima's Hamadori region with audiences in Japan and abroad.
PROJECT TENSUI is conceived not as a one-time performance, but as an ongoing creative project—one that continues to grow through relationships with people and place.
